About Us

 As a member of any GFWC club, you become  a member of the General Federation of Women's Club est. 1890, the district and GFWC Arizona, established in 1901! Arizona was still one of the remaining territories within the United States of America.  Although not yet a state, the pioneer women of Arizona officially voted to affiliate with the General Federation of Women’s clubs on November 18, 1901. Interestingly, GFWC Arizona was recognized as a state federation at the GFWC National Convention in Los Angeles, in May of 1902.
